Built by People Who Know What's at Stake

We built Cadence to handle the work that slows workers’ compensation down. Before Cadence, professionals were mired in heavy medical/legal documentation that was difficult to understand and nearly impossible to analyze across disciplines in the truncated time that is required as part of the system. With documentation piling up, claims become stalled.

For more than 25 years, I have built enterprise software for industries where the stakes are high, the rules are complex, and people cannot afford for systems to fail them. I have founded and scaled a company which was then sold to IBM, led digital strategy and product innovation, and helped modernize operations and customer experiences in technology, life sciences, and financial services.

But the work that has always pulled me in most deeply is this: identifying where good people are stuck in broken processes and building a better path forward.

That is why we started Cadence Group.

Workers’ compensation sits at the intersection of care, advocacy, risk, regulation, and human vulnerability. At the center of every claim is a person who may be facing one of the hardest moments of their life. Around them are attorneys, adjusters, nurses, employers, and carriers trying to help, often while fighting through paperwork, disconnected systems, delays, and administrative burden.

I believe they deserve better.

Cadence was built with a simple but powerful promise: remove the friction so people can do their best work. When the system moves faster, injured workers get care sooner. Attorneys can focus on advocacy. Carriers can operate with more confidence. Nurses and claims professionals can spend less time chasing information and more time improving outcomes.

My optimism comes from what I have seen again and again throughout my career: when you give talented people the right tools, they do extraordinary things.

Cadence is our commitment to that future. A future where technology does not replace human expertise, but amplifies it. A future where the workers’ compensation system becomes faster, clearer, more connected, and more humane for everyone it serves.
