Overview of Companies
Having the Companies in a different file from the People provides far more
versatility and capabilities than other systems using only one file for
both. For example, sometimes you don't need to know the person, just the
company. Or, you may want to have more than one person linked to a company and
you don't want to redo the common information each time you enter another
employee.
If you mostly work business to business, but still require the main contact,
it's always recommended that you enter at the Company Control
Center and Insert a new Company. This will create : a new person, a new
task, and phone number: saving you many steps later.
Notice that even from the Business Control Center, we can still access the
other two main files: the People and the Tasks. When there are multiple people
assigned to the selected company, you will also see their phone/email numbers.
Company Relationships
Companies are related to people by the company name. To link a person to a
company, you need to have the company name in that designated field in the
People form. This creates an employee for the company.
Tip: Even if you have no person assigned to a company, when you create
a new company, it will create a person record without a name. You could delete
this person, put if you want further connections with the system capabilities,
you should keep the person there: even if it say "no name" in the full
name field, it will help in views you see later.
Companies have no other relations: i.e., they are not related to tasks.
Company Form

The company form provides simple entries of people and a main phone number as
well.
Company Automated Features
Even though there are separate files for person and company, task and even
phone/email, the system does it all in a single entry using the company form.
Adding a new company does the following:
